Profile

Sukarno is a lecturer at English Language Education Department, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Yogyakarta State University. His teaching and research interests include teaching English as a foreign language and materials development. He teaches “English Instructional Technology” and language skills. He just conducted an empirical English coursebook evaluation and now he has been developing a model of English coursebook dynamic evaluation. Now, he is the secretary of Program PPG Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (Teacher Profession Education, Yogyakarta State University). Prior to his current position, he served as Head of English Language Education Study Programme, Head of English Language Education Department, Head of English Division of Language Centre, and Treasurer of Language Centre.
